Rusty Schlenk, Michael Long, Abe Huls, Bobby Six and Kim Abbott all took feature event wins at Quincy Raceways on Sunday September 13 during John Wood Community College Night at the Races.

Rusy Schlenk made the long haul for Ohio looking for UMP Points and he made the trip worthwhile as he stormed to the front of the field in the Kick Start UMP Super Late Model feature event and held off a strong challenge from Mark Burgtorf to take the feature win. Burgtorf settled for second followed by Justin Reed in third, Jason Perry in fourth and Michael Kloos in fifth. Perry and Denny Woodworth were the heat race winners.

Michael Long took the Miller Lite UMP Modified feature event win over a resurgent Russ Coultas in second, Frankie Wellman in third, David Wietholder in fourth and Jared Schlipman in fifth. Long and Wietholder were the heat race winners.

Abe Huls and Beau Taylor put on quite a show battling for the lead of the Powder Coat Plus Stock Car main event for the first ten laps but Huls  pulled away to take the checkered flag over Taylor in second, Jake Powers in third and Jerry Jansen in fourth. Taylor took the win in the only heat race.

Bobby Six took over the lead of the Summy Tire and Auto Center SportMod feature event on the eighth lap and never looked back to take his first feature win at Quincy Raceways. Joey Gower settled for second followed by Adam Birck in third, Brandon Lennox in fourth and Tony Dunker in fifth. Birck and Austin Howes were the heat race winners.

Kimberly Abbott scored the checkered flag in the Sport Compact division as she held off Brandon Reu in second, Blaine Roe in third, Taylor Vandermaiden in fourth and Josh Barnes in fifth. Barnes took the heat race win.

Coming up next at Quincy Raceways on September 20 is the Season Championship races featuring the Big Ten UMP Super Late Models racing for a $2000 first place check as well as the other divisions racing for the Hardware as the 2015 Season winds down.
