TCS Logo - flagsPontoon Beach, IL – (September 30th, 2015) Tri-City Speedway will bring the curtain down on the 2015 racing season this Friday, October 2nd with a giant celebration.

The 2015 track champions will be crowned in all divisions. Billy Laycock looks for his first UMP Late Model Track Championship as he holds a 46 point lead over Michael Kloos going into the final night. Michael Long has the UMP Modified Championship wrapped up but there are many positions in the top ten that will be decided this Friday including the battle for second place. Dustin Homan also has the UMP B-Mod Track Championship secured, but there are lots of positions still to be decided within the top ten. Joe Laws will try and hold off Sean McCarty in the Sport Compact division to earn the Championship in that division. Mindy Wiser holds a slim seventeen point lead over Rosie George in the Dirt Diva division.

The Tri-City Speedway Street Stock (UMP Factory Stock) title is already decided with Tony Walker holding a commanding lead in the points. But the Street Stocks will be racing for big money this Friday in the Brad Yotter Memorial which pays $3,000 to win and has over a $10,000 total purse on the line. This race features the biggest purse in the area that the Street Stocks get to race for in 2015.

The kids certainly are not forgotten as they are encouraged to dress up in the Halloween costumes and they will be invited into the pit area for a Trunk or Treat in which they will go to driver’s trailers and receive candy and other goodies. There will also be a costume contest for the kids along with bobbing for apples and other great prize giveaways to kids.

After everything is wrapped up at the track after a full night of racing, there will be a post-race party at KG’s for everyone including drivers, crews, sponsors, fans and the kids are invited as well. The post-race party will go from 11pm till 3am.

Come on out and enjoy the final race of 2015 at Tri-City Speedway. Tri-City Speedway is located just across the Mississippi River from St. Louis, MO in Pontoon Beach, IL. Take I-270 to exit 4 (Rt 203) and go south approximately 1/2 mile to the track.
