Lake Cumberland SpeedwayCrofton, Kentucky (10/20/11) – Dillan White will go after the biggest win of his young career this weekend behind the wheel of his #54 DW Motorsports/Mastersbilt/Jay Dickens Racing Engine Super Late Model in the 21st Annual MAC Metals 100 at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky).

For the second straight week Dillan took part in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) last Saturday as he looked for track time for the upcoming, special event. He would begin the night by registering the fastest qualifying lap of the 19 entries on hand with a time of 13.085 seconds around the oval. He would go on to finish second in his heat race to earn the fourth starting spot for the main event. Early in the feature he would advance to third, and narrowly avoided disaster on the fourteenth lap, when a tangle between lapped cars collected Dillan and two of the other front runners. Track officials credited the lapped traffic with the caution, and as a result White and the other leaders were able to retain their spots. He would go on to finish third at the checkered flag behind race winner, Skylar Marlar, and Johnny Wheeler. Full results are available at www.LCSpeedway.com.

This weekend, October 21st-22nd, Dillan will return to Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Kentucky) for the 21st Annual MAC Metals 100. The $10,000-to-win/$700-to-start event gets underway on Friday with time trials before seeing heat races, b-mains, and the 100 lap finale contested on Saturday evening. Dillan also has new t-shirts, hoodies, hats, and beanies. The items can be viewed and ordered via his website at www.DillanWhite.com and can also be purchased at the team’s hauler during any upcoming event.
