(Peoria, IL) Excitement is building for the 5th Annual “Don Bohlander Tribute” race at Peoria Speedway, which will be held on Saturday, April 14. The race will be a benefit for the “Don Bohlander Parkinson’s FundRACERS” charity, and will kick off the 10 race “Budweiser UMP Super Late Model Series” at the Farmington Road high banks. The ”Budweiser Super Series” will pay $5,000 to the winner, with over $129,000 in total prize money paid out.

For the first time, the race will be co-sanctioned by UMP and the Iowa-based Corn Belt Clash Series, and will be run under the rules and regulations of the CBC. In addition to the standard Hooiser D55 tire rule for the CBC, D20 and D40 Hoosiers will be legal for the “Bohlander Tribute”.

The CBC is adding $4,300 to the “Bohlander Tribute” purse, but to be eligible drivers must be CBC members. CBC memberships are $125 and will be available at the pit gate.
