PADUCAH INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY MARKS THE SECOND STOP ON THE TRI STATE CHALLENGE

Paducah International RacewayMARS $5,000 To Win is Friday, June 1st

Paducah, KY- May 31, 2012- Three races… three days… three tracks. The fan favorite Tri State Challenge roars onto Paducah International Raceway this Friday, June 1st. See Late Model action at its finest when regional dirt track names including Shannon Babb, Brian Shirley, Ryan Unzicker, Jason Feger, Dennis Erb, Jr., and current MARS points leader Jesse Stovall go nose to tail with local favorites including Randy Sellars, Tanner English, Terry English, Jason Riggs, current points leader Tim Brown, and three time reigning Track Champion Kevin Cole. It is the MARS Dirtcar Series verses the UMP Dirtcar Series with $5,000 on the line.

Pit Gates open at 4:00 PM. Grandstands open at 5:00 PM. Hot Laps are at 6:30 PM. Late Model Qualifying is at 7:00 PM, and Racing begins at 7:30 PM. Tickets are $20 for Adults. Children 12 and under are $5. Pit Admission is $30.

The three day event kicks off at Highland Speedway, located at the Madison County Fairgrounds in Highland, Illinois, on Thursday, May 31st with $3,000 up for grabs. Following Friday’s event in Paducah, the tour concludes at the newly named Federated Auto Parts Raceway (formerly I-55 Raceway) in Pevely, Missouri with another $5,000 going home with the winner. A combined total of $13,000 is up for grabs for the weekend of the Tri State Challenge.
