DIRTcar Summer Nationals(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) The Dennis Erb Racing team kicked off the annual running of the UMP Summer Nationals last week with five shows in the states of Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin from June 13-17. A strong field of cars were on hand at the Brownstown (IN) Speedway, the Kankakee County (IL) Speedway, the Cedar Lake (WI) Speedway, and the Wilmot (WI) Raceway, but Dennis Erb, Jr. was able to transfer into each of the five feature events. While Dennis was not able to turn in a top ten performance in the first week on the “Hell Tour,” he did finish twelfth in the first two $5,000 to win programs at Brownstown and Kankakee.
