northsouthlogowebBatesville, Arkansas (08/07/13) – Billy Moyer Jr. piloted his #21jr Sparks Motorsports/Crop Production Services/NXS Power Line/Victory Circle by Moyer/Pro Power Racing Engine to his first win of the season on Friday night with a $2,000 triumph with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS).

Billy Moyer Jr. opened a doubleheader with the COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Models on Friday evening at North Central Arkansas Speedway (Yellville, Arkansas), and by the time the checkered flag dropped the 2010 CCSDS Champion had claimed his first win of 2013!

Billy started his night by storming to the win in his heat race to earn the New Vision Graphics Pole Award for the feature with Hunter Durham starting to his outside. When the green flag dropped Moyer Jr. bolted to the lead. That would prove to be as close as anyone got to the Batesville, Arkansas driver as he motored away from the pack to lead all 35 laps of the caution-free event to score his 11th career triumph with the series. He was followed across the finish line by Jesse Stovall, Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, and Hunter Durham.

Saturday evening found Billy chasing a $2,500 payday at I-30 Speedway (Little Rock, Arkansas), and the night started with Moyer Jr. finishing 3rd in his heat race to lock into the 12th starting spot for the 35 lap finale. In the feature he climbed eight spots to finish 4th behind race winner, Jack Sullivan, Kyle Beard, and Chandler Petty.

This weekend Billy will resume action with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) as he makes the trip to Florence Speedway (Union, Kentucky) for the 31st Annual Sunoco North/South 100, which will post a $50,000 winner’s check for Saturday night’s finale, which will be taped for future airing by the Lucas Oil Production Studios cameras.
