Jason Riggs Records Pair of Top Fives in ROCKtoberfest; Clarksville Ahead

DIRTcar(HARRISBURG, ILLINOIS) Jason Riggs and the Riggs Motorsports team traveled north to the Kankakee County Speedway in Kankakee, Illinois on October 11-12 for the two-day ‘ROCKtoberfest IV’ program. On Friday night, Jason won his heat race, started ninth in the $1,000 to win main event, and later blasted past five competitors en route to a fourth place performance behind only winner Mike Spatola, Kevin Weaver, and Steve Thorsten. In Saturday’s $1,200 to win weekend finale, Jason ran second in his heat race prior to advancing to another fourth place effort in the A-Main to finish behind only victor Kevin Weaver, Mike Spatola, and Jay Morris. Complete results from both UMP DIRTcar Series shows can be obtained by logging onto www.kankakeecountyspeedway.com.

On the heels of those strong finishes, the #81jr team will trek south to the Clarksville Speedway in Clarksville, Tennessee on Saturday evening, October 19. A weekly UMP DIRTcar Series program will be held this Saturday at the Volunteer State speedplant and a $1,000 top prize will be on the line.
