The Greatest Show on dirt the World of Outlaws will be in Illinois and Missouri this weekend as well as the POWRI National Midgets. Two shows including Pevely and Jacksonville will host both sanctioning bodies.
Friday the World of Outlaws will be Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon Missouri, before heading to Pevely, Missouri on Saturday, and Jacksonville, Illinois on Sunday. Californian Brad Sweet holds a 2 point advantage over 10 Time World of Outlaw Champion Donny Schatz. Daryn Pittman in the Roth Motorsports sit third in the standings with rookie Carson Macedo in the Kyle Larson Motorsports and Logan Schuchart rounding out the top five. Schuchart is the grandson of the legend Bobby Allen.
Others drivers competing in the series include David Gravel, Shane Stewart, Ian Madsen, Sheldon Haudenschild, Kraig Kinser, Brent Marks, Chad Kemenah, Jason Sides, and Jacob Allen.
The POWRI National Midgets this weekend could be a very interesting field, I would imagine you will have the Keith Kunz Stable with Logan Seavey, Tanner Carrick, and Tucker Klaasmeyer to name a few and the Clauson-Marshall clan of Tyler Courtney and Zeb Wise, and of course the Petry Motorsports team of Jerry Coons Jr. and Cole Bodine. Zach Daum, Jake Neuman, and Tyler Thomas should be on hand as well. There are no USAC races this week so that is why we could see some surprises.
NASCAR Superstar and Chili Bowl Champ Christopher Bell will be at Jacksonville Sunday driving the Kevin Swindell #39 Sprint Car.
