Lucas Oil Late Model SeriesWAYCROSS, GA (March 7, 2011) – Officials of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series have released a list of amendments to the 2011 series rulebook. The majority of the rules are body related including the much talked about interior deck rule. The series has further defined the rule on Interiors; the deck must taper towards the center of the car. Competitors with an interior that is made differently will have 30 days to comply with the rule, after the 30 day grace period a Twenty Five pound penalty will be assessed.

Other changes to the rulebook include; nosepieces, fender flairs, sail panels, and quarter panels. In an effort to control costs, the series also omitted the use of titanium chassis or suspension components, as well titanium fasteners. Titanium or carbon fiber rotors or calipers are not permitted.
