Lucas Oil Late Model Series(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) team headed to the Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi over the July 6-7 weekend for the annual running of the ‘Clash at the Mag.’ The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series once again presided over the two-day extravaganza, which boasted a hefty $20,000 payday. In addition, the high-definition cameras of the Lucas Oil Productions Studios were on the grounds to tape the dirt-slinging action for broadcast on SPEED, NBC Sports Network, and MAVTV.

In preliminary action on Friday night, Billy Moyer timed in fourth quickest in Group A during the qualifying session and later won his loaded heat race. The Batesville, Arkansas star then rolled off from the inside of the second row in the 100-lapper on Saturday evening. When the checkers had fallen over the stellar field, Billy found himself in the seventh position in the finishing order. Full results from Magnolia can be viewed online at www.lucasdirt.com.

Billy and the #21 team will remain on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series tour for two more high-profile races this upcoming weekend (July 13-14) in the states of Illinois and Missouri. The Tri-City Speedway in Granite City, Illinois will play host to the $10,000 to win ‘Battle at the Beach 50’ tonight while the Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, Missouri will take center stage on Saturday evening by hosting the ‘CMH Diamond Nationals,’ which also features a $10,000 top prize. Both one-day programs will once again be taped by the cameras of the Lucas Oil Productions Studios for broadcast later in the year.
