(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team continued their 2012 journey on November 1-3 at the immaculate Dirt Track at Charlotte in Concord, North Carolina. The ‘PEAK Motor Oil World of Outlaws World Finals’ attracted 72 competitors to the 4/10-mile, Charlotte-area speedplant. In qualifying on Thursday night, Dennis timed in twenty-sixth quickest for Friday’s program and thirty-first fastest for Saturday’s showdown.

When the action heated up on Friday evening, Dennis ran fifth in his loaded heat race and third in his B-Main. Unfortunately, his consolation event finish was one mere spot away from a transfer position into the $10,000 to win feature. In Saturday’s weekend finale, Dennis finished fourth in his heat race prior to grabbing the second and final transfer spot through his B-Main. After rolling off from the outside of the eleventh row in the $10,000 to win main event, the Carpentersville, Illinois ace moved past a few competitors on his way to an eighteenth place performance in the 50-lapper. Complete results from the ‘World Finals’ weekend can be accessed online at www.worldofoutlaws.com.

The Dennis Erb Racing team is now prepping their equipment for the 38th edition of the ‘National 100.’ The unsanctioned biggie at the East Alabama Motor Speedway in Phenix City, Alabama will be held on November 10-11. Qualifying and heat race action is scheduled for Saturday at EAMS, while the consolation races and the 100-lap ‘National 100’ are slated for Sunday. A $20,000 top prize will be on the line and an additional $5,000 will be posted in lap money. Dennis has finished in the top ten of each ‘National 100’ since 2005, including a fourth place effort in last year’s version. Additional information can be viewed online at www.eamsdirt.com.
