(April 11, 2013) Wheatland, MO – Lucas Oil MLRA Officials are excited to announce the addition of three race nights to the 2013 season. Two of the tracks are not on the schedule otherwise, adding some diversity to the tour. Dan Robinson, Series Director, commented “We wanted to give drivers the opportunity to get out to a couple of different tracks and also add in events that can create two-day swings, these additions are a great fit for the series.”
The first of the three events will be at US 36 Speedway in Osborn, MO on Friday, May 31st. “A previously scheduled race at US 36 was removed from the itinerary earlier in the year due to conflicts, this puts us back there for one appearance in 2013,” Robinson stated. Saturday, June 1st, the Lucas Oil MLRA will invade LA Raceway in La Monte, MO for the first of two visits. These two back-to-back nights of racing will both pay $3,000 to the winner, follow the Show-Me 100, and will kick off the month of June with a bang.
The next addition is Friday, July 26th at Midway Speedway in Lebanon, MO. This is the only night for the series at the 1/4 mile track. From Lebanon, the series will trek northwest and return to LA Raceway for the second and final time in 2013, as previously scheduled.
