Salina, OK (September 21, 2013) – Defending MARS champion Jesse Stovall of Billings, MO made it a weekend sweep at the Salina Highbanks as he picked up last night’s 40 lap, $3,000 to win season ending feature event.
Stovall started from the outside poll and led every lap en-route to his 17th career MARS win. Stovall had to weather several cautions along the way and withstood challenges from 2011 MARS champion Brad Looney of Republic, MO and 2013 MARS champion Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO.
Looney would settle for second with Gary Christian of Broken Bow, OK; Justin Asplin of Birch Tree, MO and Jackson Jr. rounding out the top five.
