Middleburg, Florida (12/01/14) – Mark Whitener continued his late-season hot streak by winning yet another big event in the #58 Big Frog Motorsports/Dave’s Towing/B&B Produce/Barry Wright Late Model.
Saturday night was a great outing for Big Frog Motorsports as Mark Whitener scored a $3,000 victory in the United Dirt Late Model Challenge Series (UDLMCS) event at North Florida Speedway (Lake City, Florida).
Via a second place finish in heat race action, Whitener moved onto the redraw for the 40 lap finale, where he was the recipient of the outside-front-row starting position. When the race went green Whitener bolted to the lead, and once out front never looked back en route to his eighth victory of the 2014 campaign. Mark was followed across the finish line by series points leader, Jason Fitzgerald, Austin Kirkpatrick, John Kellum, and Kyle Bridges.
“We’ve really caught fire here late in the year, and I wish that the season would just keep going,” laughed Whitener after scoring the big win. “I would like to thank Big Frog Motorsports and all of our great sponsors for making this possible.”
