(PINCONNING, MICHIGAN) For the first time since 2011, Jeep Van Wormer has made the long flight Down Under to take his racing talents to Western Australia. Jeep will be part of the USA Invasion Tour, which will consist of four Late Model meets at four different venues from January 16-25.

This upcoming weekend will find the Pinconning, Michigan driver in action on Friday at Collie Speedway, while he will sling dirt on Saturday at Bunbury Speedway. Action will round out Down Under with another doubleheader on January 24 at Albany Speedway and on January 25 at Manjimup Speedway. Back in 2011, Jeep scored a big win at Manjimup Speedway, while he nabbed an impressive runner-up effort at Bunbury Speedway.

Jeep will pilot a Rocket Chassis out of the Oldfield Racing stable with primary sponsorship coming from UltraTune Morley Auto Service Centres and Sonic Cut. Additional information on the USA Invasion Tour can be viewed by pointing your web browser to www.latemodelracingwa.com.au.

“I can’t thank the entire Oldfield Racing team enough for the opportunity to drive their equipment again and it should be a lot of fun Down Under,” stated Van Wormer before leaving the United States last week. “We have done a lot of racing together both down there and here stateside in the past. I am looking forward to seeing my good friends again and hopefully we will perform strong on the racetrack. The last time I was down there in 2011, I think I had two wins and a second place finish. That kind of success will be hard to duplicate, but we will give it our best shot!”

The Iron Motorsports team thanks the following sponsors for their continued and unwavering support: Bayline Fire Protection, Knochel Oil Company, Services on Site, Van Wormer Management, Rocket Chassis, Jay D1ckens Racing Engines, ACPT, Allstar Performance, Bell Racing, Beyea Headers, Brinn, Inc., BSB Manufacturing, Bulldog Rear Ends, Delph Communications, Dyer’s Top Rods, Eibach Springs, Exide Technologies, Fine Line Window Tinting, Goodridge Hose & Fittings, Hoosier Racing Tire, Howe Racing Enterprises, Integra Race Shocks, J.C.
