Springfield, MO July 25, 2015 – Tony Jackson Jr. of Lebanon, MO picked up his 12th career win with the MARS series at Springfield Raceway and picked up $2,000 for his efforts. Jackson Jr., started on the pole and led all 35 laps of the caution free feature.
Jackson Jr., the 2-time defending MARS series champion, out ran Brantlee Gotshcall of Nevada, MO and Shane Essary or Aurora, MO to pick up the win. Jason Hughes of West Plains, MO and Justin Wells of Aurora, MO rounded out the t= op five.
Jackson Jr., drives a Club 29 Race Car with a Cornett Engine and is sponsored by Henryetta Ford, Merrill Bonding, Budweiser, RaceNote, Eibach Springs, Midwest Sheet Metal, Keyser Manufacturing and Missouri Mountain Moonshine.
The MARS DIRTcar Series presented by Andy’s Frozen Custard will be back in action Friday July 31st at Flint Creek Speedway in West Siloam Springs, OK. The race scheduled for Saturday August 1st at Caney Valley Speedway in Caney, KS has been cancelled.
