Dennis-Erb-Jr(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb Racing traveled to the sprawling Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway in Imperial, Pennsylvania on August 28-29 for the 27th edition of the ‘Pittsburgher 100.’ The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series presided over the two-day extravaganza, which boasted a hefty $20,000 payday. On Friday night, Dennis Erb, Jr. laid down the sixth fastest lap in Group A during qualifying prior to running second in his stacked heat race.

After rolling off from the inside of the fourth row in Saturday’s 100-lap headliner, Dennis was able to move forward to post a top five in the annual mega-event. At the conclusion of the ‘Pittsburgher 100,’ Dennis found himself in the fifth spot behind only winner Scott Bloomquist, Jonathan Davenport, Don O’Neal, and Jimmy Owens. The Carpentersville, Illinois ace has now moved up to sixth in the latest version of the LOLMDS point standings exiting PPMS. Full results can be accessed online at www.lucasdirt.com.
