(Nashville, TN) This coming Saturday night, one of the strongest fields of Super Late Models of the year, will converge on the Music City for the North-South Super Late Model Challenge 100 presented by Team Construction.  The Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville event will be available live via a Pay-Per-View broadcast on Speed51.com.  In addition to that, the race will also be broadcast on Wednesday, July 3 at 7:00 PM on Speed51’s Short Track America on MAVTV.

The event is part of a doubleheader with the ARCA Menards Series that is scheduled for Saturday night, May 4th, with a raindate for Sunday afternoon, May 5th.  The race will feature some of the best Super Late Model drivers in the country, as competitors from the ARCA/CRA Super Series powered by JEGS, the Southern Super Series presented by Sunoco, and the CARS Tour will be racing for series points.  It’s one of just two events each year that is triple sanctioned, with the other taking place at Bristol.

The entry list is at nearly 40, which is one of the highest numbers of any event in the country.  In addition to prize money and points, the winner will take home a coveted Nashville guitar trophy and great publicity on Speed51’s Short Track America on MAVTV.

“We appreciate everything that Bob Dillner and his staff at Speed51 do for short track racing,” said Bob Sargent, Track Enterprises promoter.  “We have a great Super Late Model race at Fairgrounds Speedway and love seeing the racers get some extra coverage.”

Speed51’s Short Track America is in it’s second season on MAVTV and will be televised on Wednesday nights at 7:00 PM ET with an encore at 10:00 PM ET.  The broadcasts include a wide variety of racing, from asphalt Street Stocks and dirt Outlaw Karts to the bright lights of Bristol Motor Speedway and the FASTRAK World Championship.
