World of Outlaws Late Model Series(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) The Wendell Wallace Autosports team invaded the Northeast Arkansas Speedway in Harrisburg, Arkansas over the September 7-8 weekend for a pair of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series showdowns. Following a rain-out of the $1,500 to win event on Friday night, the weekend concluded with the ‘Rockabilly 45’ on Saturday, which boasted a $3,000 payday. Wendell Wallace won his heat race in preliminary action and later led laps 11-14 of the main event. The Batesville, Arkansas ace eventually slipped back to fourth in the final rundown to finish behind only winner Jack Sullivan, Tanner English, and Brandon Smith. Complete results from NEA Speedway can be accessed online at www.compdirt.com.

Next up for Wendell will be a pair of World of Outlaws Late Model Series battles this upcoming weekend (September 14-15) in the states of Illinois and Missouri. The tiny Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois will be the track of choice on Friday night, while the Federated Raceway at I-55 in Pevely, Missouri will take center stage on Saturday. The ‘Photobilly 50’ at Belle-Clair will pay $12,000 to the winner and the annual running of the ‘Pepsi Nationals’ at Pevely will feature a $10,000 top prize. Wendell will once again be behind the wheel of Steve Lampley’s #33 Barry Wright racecar this weekend in the St. Louis area.
