World-of-Outlaws-Late-Model-Series(CARPENTERSVILLE, ILLINOIS) Dennis Erb, Jr. and his #28 team invaded Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois and Peoria Speedway in Peoria, Illinois over the April 10-11 weekend for a pair of Super Late Model tussles. On Friday night at Farmer City, a strong field of competitors piled into the pit area for a $1,000 to win weekly UMP DIRTcar Series event. Dennis timed in eighth fastest during the qualifying session and later grabbed the third transfer spot through his heat race. After rolling off from the outside of the fourth row in the A-Main, Dennis moved up a couple of spots to finish sixth in the headliner behind only winner Brandon Sheppard, Bobby Pierce, Kevin Weaver, Kent Robinson, and Jason Feger,

At Peoria on Saturday evening, the annual running of the ‘Don Bohlander Tribute’ race took place and a $5,000 payday was on the line. Dennis clicked off the thirteenth fastest lap during time trials prior to finishing fourth in heat race action. The Carpentersville, Illinois star then picked off seven competitors during the 50-lap affair to record an impressive third place podium showing behind only victor Bobby Pierce and runner-up Mike Spatola. Complete results from both Land of Lincoln venues can be accessed online at www.farmercityracing.com and www.peoriaspeedway.com.

With the cancellation of the ‘Bad Boy 98’ at Batesville (AR) Motor Speedway, Dennis Erb Racing has changed their April 17-19 weekend schedule to include a trio of high-profile events in their home state of Illinois. On Friday and Saturday, the World of Outlaws Late Model Series will sanction the annual ‘Illini 100’ at Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. A $6,000 top prize will be up for grabs on Friday evening, while Saturday’s showdown will pay a whopping $15,000 to the winner. The tripleheader weekend is then scheduled to conclude on Sunday at Quad City Speedway in East Moline, Illinois, as the MARS, ALMS, and Corn Belt Clash tours will tri-sanction a $3,000 to win special. Additional information on these races can be viewed online at www.woolms.com and www.marsracingseries.com.
