Batesville, Arkansas (03/08/11) – After scoring a top ten finish last weekend in the Texas Dirt Track World Championship, Billy Moyer Jr. is preparing to take his #21jr Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Bullock Racing Engine Super Late Model into battle this weekend in a pair of Tennessee events.

Jr. Motorsports continued the busy start to their season by traveling to the Texas Dirt Track World Championship at the Texas Motor Speedway Dirt Track on Saturday, March 5th. The O’Reilly SUPR sanctioned event drew a field of 39 Super Late Models, and in heat race action, Moyer Jr. put on a driving display as he powered his #21 Victory Circle by Moyer from the tenth starting spot to a third place finish, which locked him into the sixth starting spot for the main event. Early in the race, Billy would race his way up to the second spot as he challenged the leader for the first half of the event. However, as the race wore on, his tires wouldn’t fire, and he slipped to a sixth place finish behind event winner, Will Vaught, Chris Brown, Morgan Bagley, Ronny Lee Hollingsworth, and Kelly Boen.  Full results are available at www.DirtOnDirt.com .

This weekend, March 11th-12th, Billy will travel to a pair of Tennessee ovals as he enters back-to-back, $3,000 to win events.  The first event will be held on Friday night at Clarksville Speedway (Clarksville, Tennessee) as the 1/4 mile hosts a challenge event between the MARS tour and UMP Super Late Models.  For more information on the event, please visit www.MarsRacingSeries.com and www.ClarksvilleSpeedway.com

On Saturday night, the action will shift to the reopened, Tennessee National Raceway (Hohenwald, Tennessee) for $3,000 to win, 2nd Annual Ice Breaker event, which will be sanctioned by the Southern Regional Racing Series.  Billy recorded a fourth place finish in the event in 2010.  For more information on the event, please visit www.SouthernRegionalRacingSeries.com and www.RaceTN.com .
