Springfield,Mo.-The Mid-Season Championships are set for this Sat night at the Quick-Quarter of the SpringfieldRaceway in all 6 classes with outstanding point races going on so far.
Action will feature the USRA Budweiser RHS Modifieds,Reliable Chevrolet SportMods,Casey’s General Stores Midwest Modz,Missouri Dirt Legends,Wheeler Metals Purestocks and Pepsi StreetStocks(Area FactoryStocks Bring your track rules-No Tubular Rear Suspensions or No Tub Frames).
The original schedule called for the Battle of the Badges but due to scheduling conflicts, that event will be rescheduled later as Law Enforcement personell race to raise money for different causes.
Drivers will be lined-up based on their current total points with the heats inverted, the high point cars will be in the first heat at the rear while the second place drivers in points will start tailback in heat 2 and etc. Drivers will still have to race their way in to grab their starting spot just as we do on our normal shows. This provides excitement to the races and has meaning to the heat races.
Grandstand Gates open at 5PM with hotlaps at 6:15 and Racing at 7PM. Pitgates open at 4 with Drivers Meeting at 5:50. Cars are to hotlap in their own class.
General Admission is only $10 for Adults while Kids 6-12 are $5 and under 6 Free. Pitpasses are $25.
