MUSCATINE, Iowa (March 22) – Following a long off-season, Brian Birkhofer and his #15b team are scheduled to break out this upcoming weekend in the Hoosier State of Indiana. Weather pending, Brian will make his way to the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana for his season opener this Saturday night, March 24. The 15th Annual ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ will once again be sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and a $10,000 payday will be on the line. Brian had a sterling performance in last year’s version of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker,’ as he wound up fourth in the final rundown behind only winner Scott Bloomquist, Don O’Neal, and Earl Pearson, Jr.

The Birkhofer Racing team will then jump right back into action the following weekend, March 30-31, at the Farmer City Raceway in Farmer City, Illinois. The World of Outlaws Late Model Series will preside over the annual ‘Illini 100’ next weekend at the 1/4-mile fairgrounds bullring. A strong contingent of competitors is expected to converge on Farmer City for the two-day, $20,000 to win extravaganza.
