MLRABatesville, Arkansas (6/04/12) –Billy Moyer Jr. piloted his #21jr Henderson Motorsports/Car City/Imperial Motors/Victory Circle M1 Chassis By Moyer/Pro Power Racing Engine Super Late Model to the $3,000 win on Saturday evening at LA Raceway (La Monte, Missouri).

The team set out to enter back-to-back, Lucas Oil MLRA Super Late Model events over the weekend, but Friday night’s action at Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kansas) would fall victim to Mother Nature. As a result, the team entered a single event on Saturday night as the tour invaded LA Raceway (La Monte, Missouri). Thirty-five competitors registered for battle, and despite never even seeing the facility before, Billy would start his night by winning his heat race from the second starting spot to earn the pole for the main event. In the $3,000-to-win feature he led every lap to claim the victory, which was his second of the 2012 season! He was followed across the finish line by Tommy Weder Jr., Mark Dotson, Eric Turner, and Justin Wells. Full results from the event are available at www.MLRARacing.com.

“The car was awesome on Saturday night. My new crew guys are doing a great job, and it feels like things are really starting to come together for us. I’m excited about the upcoming weekend, and getting to race in front of the Crop Production Services folks each night. They are some great people and a great sponsor. Hopefully I can knock down two more wins for them this weekend,” commented Moyer Jr.

This weekend, June 8th-9th, Billy is scheduled to enter a pair of COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) Super Late Model events in Missouri and Arkansas. On Friday night a $2,000-to-win/$300 to start program will be held at Malden Speedway (Malden, Missouri), and on Saturday the action is slated to roll into Northeast Arkansas Speedway (Harrisburg, Arkansas) for a $2,000-to-win/$400-to-start event.
