World of Outlaws Late Model Series(YORK, PENNSYLVANIA) The Rick Eckert Racing team rejoined the World of Outlaws Late Model Series tour on June 16-17 with a pair of $10,000 to win events in the states of Maryland and Pennsylvania. On Saturday night, the legendary Hagerstown Speedway in Hagerstown, Maryland took center stage.

Rick Eckert laid down the quickest lap of the 36 entrants during the qualifying session and later finished second in heat race action. After drawing the third starting spot prior to the 50-lapper, Rick hung around the top five for much of the race before dropping back to seventh in the final rundown.

The Eriez Speedway in Hammett, Pennsylvania then closed out the doubleheader weekend for the #24 team on Sunday evening with another
$10,000 to win showdown. Rick timed in eleventh fastest in qualifying prior to finishing second in his loaded heat race. “Scrub,” who started from the outside of the second row in the 50-lap A-Main, drove his Team Zero entry up to third to finish behind only winner Darrell Lanigan and runner-up Tim McCreadie. Rick still finds himself second in the latest version of the WOOLMS point standings following Hagerstown and Eriez.
