Macon Speedway                  MACON, Ill. – Get Ram tough when Bob Brady Auto Mall Raminator Night takes center stage with an exciting exhibition by the monster truck in addition to racing in seven Macon Speedway classes Saturday during a doubleheader weekend. On Monday, Macon Speedway continues its Memorial Day tradition with the Sunoco American Late Model Series for a $2,000-to-win feature.

Raminator will make the trip to Macon Speedway for a heart-stopping, car-crushing  exhibition in the infield that shakes the ground in a display of power and muscle. The 10,300-pound monster truck will rattle the bleachers with 2,000 horsepower from the 565 cubic-inch Hemi engine. Based in Champaign, the Hall Brothers Racing Inc., machine is valued at more than $150,000. Raminator is a fan favorite no matter your age. Scout Night for boys and girls allows free admission when scouts wear their uniforms. Plus, the Pinewood Derby is set for 1 p.m., and the first 200 children 11 and under receive a free checkered flag. The CEFCU Kid’s Club will also meet to entertain our youngest fans.

Macon Speedway is so much more than a monster truck show. The famed fifth-mile high banked oval will host racing with Billingsley Towing Modifieds, Street Stocks, Sportsman, Outlaw Hornets, Stock Hornets and Beach House Mini-Sprints. B-mods have also been added to the program.

The Raminator appears at Bob Brady Dodge, 4025 E. Boyd, Decatur, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The first two customers who buy a Dodge Ram truck Saturday will receive a complimentary gift package from Macon Speedway, including a Macon Speedway gift certificate. A test drive in a Dodge Ram will also come with a free ticket to Macon Speedway, limit one per family.

On May 26, Macon Speedway’s long tradition of racing on Memorial Day will continue when Sunoco American Late Model Series drivers go after the $2,000 to win in a race that pays $250 to start. NASCAR stars Ken Schrader and Kenny Wallace, two co-owners of Macon Speedway, will also appear for an autograph session on NASCAR Night of Stars I and race in the highly competitive Billingsley Towing Modifieds division.
