BATAVIA, Ohio (June 28, 2023) – The stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will invade Muskingum County Speedway this weekend for two action-packed days of competition, Friday and Saturday, June 30 and July 1.

The action gets underway on Friday with three 20-lap preliminary A-Mains for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, each paying $3,000 to the winner. Following the Allstar Performance Time Trials the field will be split into three, 20-lap A-Mains. The top six finishers from each preliminary A-Main will be locked into Saturday’s Freedom 60.

The top two drivers from each preliminary A-Main on Friday will compete in the STAKT Products Tournament Challenge – going head-to-head in a tournament style race that will determine the first three rows of the Freedom 60 A-Main.

Friday’s racing card also includes Heat Races for the Modifieds, Sport Mods, Mod Lites, and 4-Cylinders.

Saturday’s program includes Dirt Draft Hot Laps, the STAKT Products Tournament Challenge, B-Mains, and the 60-lap, $30,000-to-win, Freedom 60 A-Main for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.  The Modifieds, Sport Mods, Mod Lites, and 4-Cylinders will each compete in their B-Mains and respective A-Mains.

In addition to the on-track action, Muskingum County Speedway will host the largest fireworks display the area has to offer following Saturday night’s racing events.
