CARPENTERSVILLE, Ill. (March 14) – For the first time since wrapping up a very successful “Speedweeks” at the Volusia Speedway Park in Barberville, Florida on February 25, the Dennis Erb Racing team is slated to return to action this upcoming weekend in the Volunteer State of Tennessee. The ultra-fast Volunteer Speedway in Bulls Gap, Tennessee will play host to the 11th Annual ‘Spring Thaw’ on Saturday, March 17. The unsanctioned, one-day program will be headlined by heat races, consolation events, and the $10,000 to win, 60-lap main event. Dennis Erb, Jr. finished a solid tenth in last year’s version of the ‘Spring Thaw’ at Bulls Gap.

Following the trip to Tennessee this weekend, Dennis and his #28 team will then turn their focus to the annual running of the ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ at the legendary Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana on Saturday evening, March 24. The Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series will once again preside over the one-day extravaganza, which also boasts a $10,000 top prize. Dennis will come into Brownstown next weekend as the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series point leader after his tremendous ‘Winternationals’ showing last month at the East Bay Raceway Park in Gibsonton, Florida.

Additional information on both the ‘Spring Thaw’ and ‘Indiana Icebreaker’ shows can be located online at www.VolunteerSpeedway.com and www.BrownstownSpeedway.com.
