NDRL - National Dirt Racing League(BATESVILLE, ARKANSAS) Billy Moyer Racing (BMR) followed the National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) to Magnolia Motor Speedway in Columbus, Mississippi on April 18-19 for the inaugural ‘King of Mississippi’ weekend. On Friday night, a $7,500 top prize was on the line at “The Mag” and nearly 50 competitors signed in for the weekend opener. Billy Moyer posted the third fastest lap in Group B during qualifying and later scored the win in heat race action. After drawing the pole position prior to the 40-lap A-Main, Billy ran amongst the leaders early before slipping back to finish seventh in the final rundown.

On Saturday evening at the 3/8-mile facility, Billy once again laid down the third quickest circuit in Group B during the NDRL time trial session prior to finishing second in his loaded heat race. After rolling off from the inside of the fourth row in the $12,500 to win weekend headliner, the Batesville, Arkansas Hall of Famer moved past three competitors during the 60-lapper. Billy was credited for a strong fourth place performance in the ‘King of Mississippi’ finale, as he crossed underneath the checkers behind only victor Don O’Neal, Jonathan Davenport, and Scott Bloomquist. Full results from the action-packed weekend can be viewed online at www.thendrl.com.

Billy and his famed #21 team are slated to enjoy the upcoming April 25-26 weekend away from the racetrack and their plans for the May 2-3 weekend are also currently not finalized. The next National Dirt Racing League (NDRL) shows will be May 9-10 in the Buckeye State of Ohio. The Atomic Speedway in Chillicothe, Ohio – formerly K-C Raceway – will play host to a pair of high-profile events paying $5,000 to the winner on Friday night and $15,000 to win in the weekend finale on Saturday evening.
