Comp-Cams-Super-Dirt-SeriesLittle Rock, Arkansas (08/01/15) – The COMP Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) presented by Lucas Oil invaded the tight confines of I-30 Speedway on Saturday evening, where series point leader, Jack Sullivan dominated the $2,000-to-win affair.

Sullivan started in the New Vision Graphics Pole Position with Allen Tippen joining him on the front row. However, Tippen’s time at the front of the pack came to a quick end, when he spun on the first lap and collected Raymond Merrill.

The field reassembled for another attempt to get the race underway, and this time the effort would be much more successful. Sullivan immediately surged to the lead with Wendell Wallace, Chandler Petty, and Timothy Culp close behind.

The Greenbrier, Arkansas resident went on to lead every lap of the 40 lap event to claim his third win of the season with the tour and thirteenth of his career. Wallace, Culp, Petty, and Tommy Surrett completed the top five finishers.

Wendell Wallace won GRT Race Cars Heat Race #1 with Chandler Petty winning Allen Manufacturing Heat Race #2. Wendell Wallace scored the victory in ROCKHARD Powder Coating Heat Race #3.

The Boston’s Sports Bar and Restaurants B-Main was won by Lynsee Provence.

BJ Robinson was the recipient of the Wilwood Tough Break of the Race Award after seeing mechanical issues end his night early.

The tour now takes a one-week break before resuming the 2015 campaign with the 23rd Annual COMP Cams Topless 100 at Batesville Motor Speedway (Locust Grove, Arkansas). The $40,000-to-win event will be held August 14th-15th and will be co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS).
